What Is The Procedure?

So, you have decided you might potentially want a water softener fitted in your home.

What do you do next?

1) Make contact... Pop in, Phone, Email, Facebook Message or fill in the form here .

If you call into one of our three showrooms, you can view our products on display and speak to our friendly, knowledgeable office staff who can answer any initial questions you have. Likewise, we can discuss the water softeners over the phone with you too.

The office staff can then book you a site visit.

2) Site Survey… We can book in a site visit at a convenient time to suit you.

All the staff at Patmore Water Softeners are employed by us and are not paid on sales commission. With their knowledge and expertise, they can answer any other questions you have, take a look at the plumbing system, stopcock location and discuss taps, filters and the next stages in more depth.

If you would like to see an in-home demonstration using a portable water softener so you can see and feel the difference in your home, then let us know. Seeing and feeling is believing, and you’ll be astounded!

Timed appointments are available Monday to Friday, daytime and evening, to fit in around your schedule.

Typical appointment time is around 40mins.

You are not under any obligation at all. A site survey is simply that — a chance to ask questions and acquire a full written quotation.

We will leave this with you along with a product brochure and await your call to go ahead should you wish.

3) Installation… If you decide you would like to go ahead either on the day of the survey or once you’ve had time to think about it, we will book you in for an installation with one of our employed plumbers. None of our work is sub-contracted out.

Installations can be booked: Monday – Saturday.

Typically, an average installation takes between 3‐4 hours, but following the site survey we will be able to give a better estimation based on your specific installation.

4) Soft Water… Once the installation is complete, you can then begin to understand exactly why we are so passionate about what we do.

Depending on what type of plumbing system you have, you could be on softened water instantly and able to enjoy that first soft water shower or bubble bath.

If you have a storage tank to use up first, then you’ll have to wait just a little longer…but we promise it’s worth the wait!

5) Consumables… So, once you are up and running and enjoying your new shiny, bubbly world of soft water, there isn’t much else to do other than enjoy. You will just need the block salt to ensure the soft water continues.

We offer a free delivery service on the block salt throughout East Anglia and have competitive prices on bulk purchases of 5, 10 and 20 packets. We just ask that you allow us 5‐10 working days maximum for delivery (just in case of busy periods or bad weather conditions).

Alternatively, you are very welcome to call into any of our three showrooms where we always have the salt in stock. It’s always lovely to see our customers and catch up, and we are more than happy to help you pop the salt in the car too.

Besides the block salt, we also have the softened water washing powder, which can be collected from the showrooms or delivered with our delivery team with the salt.

6) Beyond… Well, there is no servicing required on our softeners, so there’s no need for annual visits. However, we are only at the end of the phone, so if you need anything or would like any adjustments made then let us know and we can organise a visit.
